DeCon Tanks
A person who has been exposed to a harmful contaminates, (Chemical, Biological, or Radiological) must be immediately removed from the hot-zone and transported to a medical facility. At this facility, a “decontamination” procedure will be performed on the victim to reduce the threat to the patient as well as other medical personnel who may subsequently encounter the patient.
As part of this procedure, the properly equipped medical facility will have a decontamination shower in order to remove contaminates from the patient. Decontamination wastewater is wastewater generated as a result of decontamination activities and may contain Chemical, Biological, or Radiological (CBR) substances.
The Park® DeCon™ Tank is designed to control decontamination wastewater for the protection of personnel and the public sewer system. Contact Park® for assistance in specifying a DeCon™ Tank for your next project.
